IMAGINE THIS

Your day has more in it than everything that went wrong.

You catch yourself laughing with someone you love. You notice the person who showed up for you. You say the kind thing you would usually keep to yourself.

The hard parts of your day are still real. So are those moments.

Gratitude Quest gives you a small, daily way to practice noticing them, then carry that feeling into your life outside the game.

the only thing we see.”Jonathan · From the Gratitude Quest introduction

YOUR FIVE MINUTES ON THE TRAIL

A small quest.
A real moment in your life.

Each day pairs a short teaching with something you can actually try. You can explore more when you have the time.

  1. 01

    Learn something
    you can use.

A short lesson from the Mended Light team gives you a new way to look at an everyday moment.

  2. 02

    Notice a little
    goodness.

Your Gratitude Glimmer helps you find something worth appreciating, right where you are.

  3. 03

    Let someone
    feel it, too.

A Connection Opportunity turns that appreciation into a kind word, a thank-you, or time together.

  4. 04

    Watch your
    practice grow.

Mark your day, earn coins, and plant seeds in your Gratitude Garden as you go.

A PRACTICE WORTH EXPLORING

There’s research
behind the practice.

A 2025 research review covering 24,804 people across 28 countries found small average improvements in well-being from gratitude practices. Results varied between studies and countries.

That evidence supports exploring gratitude in daily life. It’s research on gratitude practices generally; the new Gratitude Quest hasn’t been studied for its own outcomes.

WHY I WANTED TO CREATE THIS

We need more chances to feel alive together.

At a business mastermind, I had a realization about how much we need authentic, meaningful human connection. More opportunities to laugh, play, and experience the goodness of being alive together.

I started wondering how we could help people grow and bring them together through play. Something meaningful that you’d naturally want to share with people you love.

We all learn rules about who we’re supposed to be and what it takes to be happy. Some of those rules keep us stuck. I wanted to create a place where we could get curious, practice something different, and begin with gratitude.

We mean it.

Do I have to be a gamer?

No. Alicia isn’t a gamer, either. The quest is built around short lessons and everyday practices. Bring your curiosity; you can learn your way around as you go.

Is the whole 30-day quest really free?

Yes. The 30-day Gratitude Quest is completely free.

What if I’m having a really hard time?

You can notice something good without talking yourself out of what hurts. The practices make room for both. The quest supports everyday well-being and is not a replacement for professional mental health care.

How much time will it take?

You can take part in as little as five minutes a day. There’s also a world to explore if you’d like to spend more time there.

What happens if I miss a day?

Your waystone stays open. Return when you can and continue from where you left off. The in-game Field Notes journal is optional, too.
